Sometimes the zoo is quiet … but sometimes there are plenty of strange noises coming from the zoo! During this workshop, we’ll explore the zoo for sounds the animals make when they want to communicate. We’ll also learn about the quiet ways animals talk to each other.
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Things That Go Bump in the Night
It’s time to sneak up on some of those critters who prefer the night time. We’ll find out who loves the dark and why … and how they survive while the rest of the world sleeps.

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Winter Animal-land

We bundle up and turn up the heat – but these animals live for the wintertime! We’ll visit our snow-bound animals as they explore their frosty world, and we will figure out how they survive so well in the cold.
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Rainforest Rendezvous
These animals don’t even know it’s cold outside – they enjoy the heat of the rainforest all year long. We’ll take a close look at the unique culture and climate of the rainforest – along with the spectacular animals that call it home.
